The Cognitive Sovereignty Manifesto

Loci.Garden · 2026

Your mind is the last private space. Every major AI platform is building a system to live inside it.

They call it an assistant. What it actually is: a recording device dressed as a collaborator. When you think inside their systems, you train them. When you remember inside their products, you populate them. Your cognitive labour is the input. Their leverage is the output.

Loci is cognitive defense.

Remember this: Your memory belongs to you. Not the pattern. Not the shape. Not the timestamp of the insight. All of it. Yours.

Sovereignty is architecture, not policy. Local-first storage, keypair identity, metadata-private transport, the structure must make extraction impossible, not merely prohibited.

The tool must hold less power than the person. Always. When your system knows you better than you know yourself, it is not a tool. It is a landlord.

Your garden before your first note. Sign with your key. Your soil before your seeds.

We commit to the sovereignty stack, Nostr, Nym, Bitcoin, Ollama, Goose, not as integrations, but as proof of alignment.

Sovereignty is never paywalled. Auth is a feature, not a gate.

When the architecture cannot protect you, it stops. We never fall back silently.

The roadmap is public. This manifesto is the spell.

The garden remembers. No one else will.
